The Rock of Hell in Lathus-Saint-Remy

Bordered by the Gartempe river, the Roc d’Enfer is a unique place in the department of Vienne. This granite site is suitable for walks in nature, climbing and water sports. Class Natura 2000, the Rock of Hell has a very varied fauna and flora. During your walk, you may come across fish, otters and beavers!

The Domaine du Lac de Saint-Cyr

Le Domaine du Lac de Saint-Cyr offers a real breath of fresh air in the heart of 300 hectares of greenery, a few minutes from Futuroscope. During your walk, discover the ornithological reserve, created by the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) on the Saint-Cyr water body in 2009.

The 40 hectare site today has 213 species of birds, 32 species of dragonflies, 7 species of amphibians et 277 varieties of plants. This place was classified as a regional nature reserve in 2022. Don't forget your binoculars to get a closer look!

The Falunières of Moulin Pochas

There was a very ancient time when the tides punctuated the days of Amberre. 15 million years ago, this pretty village of mirebalaise plain was under sea water.
