Day 1
8 a.m.… the suitcases are ready
The children sit in the back of the car, the parents in the front: the engine starts and off we go! Direction the Poitevin bocage near Lathus-Saint-Remy.
Everyone is impatient: these few days of rest in the countryside are going to be truly exotic. For her unusual stay, she chose the theme of farm life with lots of fun activities!
11 a.m.… the long-awaited arrival
The car takes a small road up to large buildings: The Fermotheque ! The senses are already awakened: the smell of cut grass, the bleating of goats... The welcome from Laurent, Violaine and their children is warm! This is a stay that starts off very well.
The whole family visits the place, with a huge crush on the animal corner: goats, donkeys, sheep, chickens, ducks….
13 p.m.… at the table!
Everyone at the table: the dishes are garnished with local and seasonal products, harvested from the vegetable garden. What a delight this home-cooked meal is!

It's time to get to the heart of the matter: the little family begins by discovering the care given to animals. The children bottle-feed the sheep – and take the opportunity to cuddle – and give grain to the chickens and collect some fresh eggs, while the parents admire these endearing scenes with emotion.
17 p.m.… from the vegetable garden to the plate
After a well-deserved snack, life on the farm continues in the vegetable garden where some ripe vegetables and fruits are harvested. Then head to the kitchen for an educational and fun workshop: prepare the evening meal with farm products.

20:30 p.m.… the unusual night
The laughter continues to be heard, but the experience is not over.
It is in a yurt that the family embarks to end their day.
Its wooden frame and insulating envelope promise calm and serene nights...
Day 2
Early in the morning…
The sun rises and the rooster crowing echoes in the countryside. Parents and children get up after sweet dreams, but no time to think: the farm awaits them.
Feeding, discovery of agricultural work, ecological gestures, treasure hunts in the area... everything is there to spend a timeless moment!
Laurent and Violaine do not hesitate to pass on many elements about their life close to nature. Parents and children feel their passion.
Departure….
At the end of the day, no one wants to go home! Everyone thinks about what they have learned: how tomatoes grow, what chickens and geese are fed with, what simple eco-gestures we can implement in our everyday lives.
And above all, our little family learned how to slow down, to the rhythm of nature. The children leave with their heads full of memories, almost dreaming of a life in the countryside...
