Family golf at Domaine de Roiffé

Guaranteed change of scenery

Last weekend, I took my partner and our two children to a moment shared with family away from our daily lives. After a few hours of research, I came across the Domaine de Roiffe only 30 minutes from the house: golf, restaurant, swimming pool, and family accommodation… voila, I booked our family getaway!

On Saturday at the beginning of the afternoon, we therefore arrived at Domaine de Roiffe, with greenery as far as the eye can see, and the weather also on point: a bright sun adorned a magnificent blue sky without the shadow of a cloud. At the reception, a staff member explained to us what our stay included and the children's eyes lit up when they heard that they were going to be able to to play golf "like the grown-ups" thanks to the private initiation included in the " Expériences Famille that we were about to do.

So we swapped our dress shoes for sneakers more appropriate for the occasion. Our instructor began by introducing us to the different types of clubs and the names of the shots. (birdie, eagle, par, …). Then one by one he helped us find the right position to make the best shots and land our first hole.
After about an hour and a half, we went to the driving range to continue learning to master the basics of this sport. What a joy to enjoy these magical moments with your family!

Head full of memories after finishing our golf adventure with the mini-golf, we left with our diploma « Golf Family ". What, to ease the tensions between the children and to comfort the one who had not obtained the so much dreamed of title of best golfer.

Fresh, local and homemade products

The next morning, we still had one last thing to test: their famous breakfast ! A huge buffet was in front of us with a very varied choice: sweet, salty, hot, cold, everyone could find happiness there!

And it seemed to live up to what we had been told when we arrived the day before: fresh and local products, delicious delicacies prepared by their pastry chef,... enough to end our relaxing break in style!
