Les Grottes de la Norée
Located in the Boivre valley, a few kilometers from Poitiers, the Norée caves are the only natural cavities in the region. Vienne open to the public.
You will discover stalagmites, creating effects of petrified waterfalls, veils, draperies, and other strange geomorphological forms, enhanced by the interplay of light. The guided tour (45 minutes) will allow you to understand the history of the caves' discovery, the formation of the site, and also to discover the legend of the Norée Caves.
