Troglodytes de la Tourette

Used for the storage of harvests between the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, the Troglodytes de la Tourette are medieval peasant-type underground passages.

Rich in 20 rooms served by a vast underground network over more than 180m, there are different: silos, benches, mangers as well as an underground dovecote containing nearly 500 putlogs, in perfect condition.
This rare set bears witness to all the ingenuity of medieval men, while reminding us of the precariousness of their daily lives.
