The Cognum Tower or Cognons Tower dominates the right bank of the Vienne in the town of Civaux.
10 m high, this square tower is made up of 4 floors, of which only the last served as a residence, as evidenced by its large windows. It appears as an example of a simpler and earlier Romanesque dungeon from the west of France. It would have been built in the XNUMXth century.
