These are terracotta sculptures, glazed with the Raku technique. Other materials are often associated with it: wood, feathers, pearls, metal, gold...
Each sculpture witnesses an encounter. Solitary character, couple, group, immobile sentinels who mark the time of an emotion.
As in a dream, during the production, a dialogue begins between the known and the unknown. Adventure brings out “the other” and drives the gesture.
Born on the banks of the river, the sculptures have recently started to move... Dolls, disjointed puppets returning from a dreamland, gleaners of forgotten memories.
