Head in the stars !
The planetarium of Espace Mendès France allows you to dive, as in the middle of the night, into a sky made up of more than 4000 stars. The facilitator adapts to the different requests. It can show the apparent and real movement of the stars, discover the surprising characteristics of stars and present certain planets. A session lasts 1h30.
The Espace Mendès France - Poitiers owes its origin to researchers from the University of Poitiers, activists in popular education and popular education, who went, in the 1980s, to meet the inhabitants in the neighborhoods to discuss of scientific subjects and demonstrate, "manipulation" in support, that science could be accessible, even pleasing.
