Cinéma le Dietrich

Opened at the end of the 50s to host screenings organized by the University of Poitiers, the cinema in the Dalesme district, housed in the former annex of the Rectorate and managed by the Ciné-U association, is experiencing a second birth. on October 8, 1984 under the name Le Dietrich.

Le Dietrich is an Art and Essay room labeled "Heritage and Repertoire", "Research and Discovery" and "Young Audiences" which favors support for films with the organization of meetings with film professionals as well as with actors from the local associations.

It is an independent associative cinema as there are not many left, which offers a varied program in VOST ranging from Art and essay to genre films through animated cinema, heritage, local creation, theme nights...
