Lac de Villedon
The Lac de Villedon fishing centre features a 40-hectare carp-fishing lake for night fishing from March to November. From December to February the lake is open only for recreational (catch-and-release) predator fishing (pike, zander and perch) from a float tube or boat, with bait or fly fishing.
The centre also offers several trout-fishing options: a well stocked farm pond for pay-by-weight fishing, a bait and fly fishing river stocked with mature fish, and lake fishing with restricted catches and trout releases twice a day. Trout fishing in the Lac de Villedon is open from October to May. At other times of the year the little lake is open for carp fishing.
Our fishing centre also has a bar-restaurant with terrace, angling store with tackle hire and fishing guides available for hire. The centre has two holiday gîtes and a fishing cabin right on the lakeside.
Regular events are organised.
The Lac de Villedon offers wonderful days of fishing deep in the countryside in the quiet, beautiful surroundings of a Natura 2000 site, with classic French and local cuisine, for individuals and groups.
The Lac de Villedon is near the village of Asnières-sur-Blour, half way between Poitiers and Limoges.
