Church of St. Pierre - Usson-du-Poitou
This romanesque church dates from the 11th - 12th C, and was reconstructed in the 16th C. On the façade, a Romanesque base relief illustrates the Crucifixion, and the sculpted chapels depict lions, griffins and mermen. You can also see the recently restored classic tabernacle and statues of Saint Roch dating from the 17th century in painted wood, and The Virgin and Child dating from the 18th century in polychrome wood.
