ASPTT Flying Club - Biard

Poitiers ASPTT Flying Club is a friendly association run by unpaid volunteers. It has three aircraft, a DR400 140, a DR400 120 and a DH251 tailwheel model, and around fifty members.

It is a licensed training centre for the BB, PPL and BIA flying qualifications. It organises dual-control pleasure flights and ‘Introduction to flying’ flights. The club pilots organise various activities: flights abroad, flights around the region, rallies and other Fédération Française Aéronautique (FFA) activities. The flying club is affiliated to the FFA. Established in 1978, the club has maintained its approach to making aviation accessible to as many people as possible through its low pricing structure.
