Sanctuaire gallo-romain de Mazamas

Back

Human occupation is ancient and attested by the Gallo-Roman remains of Mazamas, at a place called Chiron.
In the first century AD, the Gallic rural sanctuary was replaced by two twin temples. Excavations brought to light numerous ceramics and various objects.
A picnic area on the edge of salleron (river) with games for children and picnic table are at your disposal.
