Every season, Le TAP, Théâtre Auditorium de Poitiers, presents around 120 performances of some 60 shows: dance, music, theatre, circus, comedy and more...
Le TAP has a 700-seat theatre and a 1,000-seat auditorium. The TAP programme is complemented by talks, workshops, classes, etc., held in all the public areas such as the bar and foyers. Le TAP is associated with 3 orchestras: the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées, Orchestre Poitou-Charentes and the Ars Nova Instrumental Ensemble, and also hosts a number of artists in residence.
Every season it organises 2 festivals: Les Rencontres Henri Langlois, an international film school festival, in December; and the Festival à Corps, which combines all artistic fields that feature the body in movement, in April. A range of ticket prices is available to attract as broad a public as possible.
